Hello,
I ran into this issue and it is persistent across different Power BI reports. I have updated my source data, refreshed the Desktop report, then get this error.
And when I attempt to view the report in Power BI Online, it just appears as if the report is loading.
This was previously mentioned multiple times on the forums, and the response was "They fixed it", with no real explanation as to how. That was in 2017. And it is not fixed, based my current issue. Can someone please help me?

Which data source do you connect to with Power BI Desktop?
Please check which version of Desktop you use,
How about updating to the last version?
Is it possible to provide your PBIX file to me to have a try on my side? You can upload it to online file service like OneDrive and then share it.
If it contains sensitive data and cannot be shared, I suggest you to create a support ticket at http://support.powerbi.com (see bottom of page).
