Publishing 3.1 GB report (pro license) - Error publishing. 'Self referencing loop detected..."

While attempting to publish a large report (3.1GB) from Power BI Desktop, I am experiencing the following exception after waiting about 5-10min during publishing:

Self-referencing loop detected with type 'Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.RequestResult'. Path 'Exception'.

This is the only information I have.

Anyone have any ideas on this subject?

Hi @boylec

For a workspace within Power BI Free or Pro account limit is 1 GB per PBIX file.

For a workspace assigned to Power BI Premium capacity it is 10 GB

Best Regards

Maggie

Hi - I've come across the same issue. My model is 1.8gb and I am publishing to a premium workspace.

Has anyone else come across this or know what is causing this error?

Thanks
