Published Dashboard: Hide Data / Dataset

Hello everyone,

I'n new to MS PowerBI and evaluate the software for my company. I haven't tried out the Pro-Access yet but I have a question to the published/shared dashboards.

When a dashboard is shared or published, you can (the person who got the link) right-click into a visualation and can choose "Show Data / Show Dataset".  So the raw-imported Excel Data shows up, which isn't great for us. Is there a way to disable the function? Our customers who get a shared dashboard should just view at the dashboards and not be able to look behind the rest of the data.

A workaround might would be to grant access to a virtual machine and disable the right-click function. But this would be too awkward.

Best regards

@Sysics

Please refer to the answer in this thread. There is no out of the box way but only two workarounds. You can also vote this idea here.

Best Regards,

Herbert
