Publish to PowerBI

Hello,

I'am using PowerBI Desktop(March2018) and I've a licence Pro in the German cloud.

When I try to Publish To Power BI I'm getting this message :

The given path's format is not supported.

Where can I see this path's format and change it in PowerBI Desktop?

Thanks,

Ana

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi Cherry,

As I'm using Power BI desktop for ReportServer, the last version is the one I'm using (March2018).

I tried your suggestion,  I created a new pbix and the deployement was Ok.

The solution was: I saved my report with a smaller name (previous had 24 characters) and the deployement was Ok.

Thanks,

Ana

Hi @AnaFrois,

If you could update your Power BI Desktop, please update to the lasted version for Power BI Desktop.

In addtion, could you share the screenshots for your error message?

If you create a new pbix with simple data, will you get this issue?

What is your data source and how do you connect it?

Best Regards,

Cherry
