ProductX on a Calculated Measure (not a Column)

Any way to get ProductX to work on a Measure?  I got it to work on the Asset_Total Column below, because it's a static Column. See DAX below. However, the Monthly Return is Asset Total / Previous Assets. I can not put this calculation in a column, the database is too large. I'd like to get a running % total of the monthly return. Excel sample is below as well to show the answer and calcs that I'm desiring. Thanks for your help!

Have you tried the built in MTD or YTD DAX expressions?

TOTALMTD =

TOTALYTD =

Hi @quickcreator

The logic appears to be challenging with DAX, especially using measures.

There are some methods about loop in Power BI.

One uses Power Query,

Another uses DAX to create a new calculated column.

They are all not affected by slicer.

For and While Loops in DAX
