Problem with Images in PowerBI

Hi everybody,

I have tried to import icons to my dashboard, since I have weather conditions in my reports. I have been following instructions from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWLXANXnIlQ

After everyting was done, my dashboard displays the images like this:123.JPG

I have already checked, links are good, data type is set to the Image URL and there is a connection with other data, so I cant really tell what is the problem here...

Also, size of the icons is 128x128, so maybe they are too big for this purpose?

Any suggestion is kindly appreciated 🙂

Right, it seems you're using the link address to the image. You'll need to use the image address instead.

So in this case a url for example would look like https://i.imgur.com/zZSCoTA.png.

Hi @DJOXXXA ,

I have downloaded the sample data from internet and successfully able to produce the icon againt it's product. (Refer below screen shot for reference)

If possible so can you please share the 2 or 3 row of sample data of your file so that I can check it from my side.

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!

Please take a quick glance at newly created dashboards : Restaurant Management Dashboard , HR Analytics Report , Hotel Management Report, Sales Analysis Report , Fortune 500 Companies Analysis , Revenue Tracking Dashboard

Hi @Tahreem24,

Thank you for your reply. I have also downloaded the working file from the video and everything is working for me too.

I cant export everything due to data sensitivity, but here are the most important parts:

Hi,

Is it possible you could post the URL of one of the images you're trying to display?

Hi @Gordonlilj,

Here is the Excel file with URLs: https://www65.zippyshare.com/v/vYBKGtWv/file.html

Thank you for the effort!

That is it! Thank you very much, I will accept this as a solution! 🙂
