Dear Community,
I am facing a problem when I try to select bars on a chart to combine them as one group. I click CTRL + Right Click, but when options appear; the Group function is in gray( not allowing me to create group). My Data is Region(text) VS Sales (sum) for each region.
I tried also to create a new measure but it creates the total for each region with the total sum of all the regions at once.

Hi @Anonymous ,
To use grouping, select two or more elements on a visual by using Ctrl+click to multi-select elements. Then, right-click one of the multi-select elements and select Group from the menu that appears. You can refer to the document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-grouping-and-binning.
If you need to create a measure to get total sales for per region, you can use DAX below.
Total sales per region=CALCULATE(SUM(Data[sale]),FILTER(ALLSELECTED(Data),Data[Region]=MAX(Data[Region])))
Best Regards,
Amy
