Problem connecting with Oracle Database

Hello!

 

I can connect to Oracle database with Oracle SQL Developer but, when i try to connect with Power BI, whit same TNSNAMES.ora configuration i get this error:

ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed.

 

I try to connect whit this tnsnames:

Prod =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = X.X.X.X)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SID = XXXX)
)
)

 

¿Can you help me?

Please try to change the entry to "SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE)"

I am having the same issue.  

I made the change to SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE) but this didn't help.

 

Any other ideas?

Could you please tell us which connector and driver did you use to connect to Oracle?

I use the last version of ODAC, 12c (12.2.0.1).

I try with 32 and 64 bits versions.
