Previous month & previous quarter button/slicer

Hello! I would like to create a button or slicer that will filter all data on the page when selected for previous month (last 30 days) or previous quarter, is this possible?

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

@amitchandak @parry2k thanks for the information and response! The options you provided seem a bit more complex than I require and I only need to filter data for previous month/quarter with a simple button or selection like slicer, is there another way?

If you want a simple method, you could use the relative date in slicer.

Or you could create two extra tables (previous month & previous quarter), then use bookmark to switch them.
