PowerBi ranking changing values over date ranges

Hi,

I am quite new to PowerBi and have a task that I have tried many ways but can’t get the result I need.

The test values are here, the real values have 3000 lines per day instead of in this example where there are three.

I created these test values so that there would be changes in used and therefore available. So that when the formulas/measures work that would be easy to see, instead of 0.00 values.

The task is to, for the values that exist, to have a way to bring to the top (in a table maybe) those values that are increasing in used the most over the last week, month, 3 months, quarter, 6 months. Some may not change this week or month. The same row

might have increased a lot 3 months ago.  So top 10 ,20, 50 for those date points in time in the past.

The data is collected once each week only. Which may be part of the problems I have.

I have not solved this issue on my own. Also I have provided powerbi file and more information here but I do not see it on this post.

The issue here is that the increase in used need to be tracked over time. For example for the three names which one has increased the most ,in used, over the last week, month, quarter. The real data has 2500 rows of different names. The data is collected once a week. So we need to graph or table a list of names which were the top 200 growing over the different time ranges looking back into the past from now.

I am not sure if doing a merge was that correct approach. The new data is append to the end of the file each week. If I do use a merge that how will we be able to automatically go the merge each week. Since the data is collected on Saturday how would be schedule the merge update and update to the result graph or ideally table each week ?

@dmcn_pbi Please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

This article may or may not help: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/To-Bleep-with-RANKX/td-p/1042520

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
