PowerBI file Crashes after 15 seconds

Hi,

I have a power BI file that crashes after 15 seconds everytime I open it. It doesn't matter if I click on anything or do nothing. It crashes after 15 seconds anyway. My collegue however can open the file from her computer and work with it without problem. I can also wok without problem with other power BI files om my computer.

After the crash I get a debug file with the following message:

[1123/083921.648:ERROR:process_info.cc(641)] range at 0xa0e000, size 0x2000 partially unreadable
[1123/083921.690:ERROR:process_info.cc(641)] range at 0x653e000, size 0x2000 partially unreadable
[1123/083921.699:ERROR:process_info.cc(641)] range at 0x52b8e000, size 0x2000 partially unreadable

Please help! 🙂

Hi @Anonymous,

What's version of your Power BI Desktop? Please update to the latest version 2.64.5285.361 64-bit (November 2018).

If you have installed the latest version, could you share the specific pbix file which could reproduce your issue, so that I can have a test in my site?  You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)

In addition, you also could send me the pbix file in Private message.

Best  Regards,

Cherry

Hi!

Thank you for your response!

I have the March 2018 version. I will upgrade and get back to you. But I have to go through our IT department to get my computer upgraded to 64, so it may take i little while 🙂

Thanks!
