We have a number of Reports published to various workspaces for access within organization. The workspaces were created by an employee who is transitioning away from the organization, and as such our IT policy suggests that the workspaces will be removed when the employee's credentials are depreceated. The rationale is that the workspace is tied to the individual who created it, not the group who is collaborating within the workspace, even with others being listed as Admin workspaces.
I am trying to find the best possible way for the body of work to persist, without the dashboards being republished to an alternative workspace. It is counterintuitive to me that a Workspace would removed, let alone tied to a particular individual, given that they are designed for collaboration.
I am seeking advice on how others have handled the transition of their PowerBI experience, when someone leaves an organization.
Appreciate any/all feedback.

Hi @irnm8dn,
If I understand your scenario correctly that the creator of the app workspace will be removed and you want to still use the app workspace?
If it is, I'll suggest that you could have a contact with the global admin to add another admin account for that app workspace so that you could still collaborate within the workspace.
The account you removes should not affect your app workspace.
Best Regards,
Cherry
