Hello,
I have 2 tables : DimDate and ServiceProviders.
DimDate is the date table and CalendarDate field is the date.
ServiceProviders table stores the enrolled providers and stores among other things, ProviderID, Name and Enrolled Date.
In the model, CalendarDate has a 1 to Many relationship to EnrolledDate.
Now in PowerBI report, I have a date filter and a Table.
The table shows ProvideID, ProviderName and other attributes from the ServiceProviders table.
Now the requirement for PowerBI report is , when i select a date range filter, I want to show all the providers whose enrolleddate falls in the date range or earlier. Basically, we want to show all the Providers who were active in the selected date. For e.g. i might select the month of February in the date range, then the table should show all the Providers enrolled on or before the last date of Feb. Remember, PRoviders were enrolled in Jan as well who are active currently,
I understand the one-to -many relationship in the model is a equal one. i.e where EnrolledDate=CalendarDateDate
What i really need here is the relationship to be lessthan or equal to. i.e. EnrolledDate<=CalendarDate.
Please how to achieve this in PowerBI, (Model configuration, measures etc??
Thanks
