Since the October update my installation of PowerBi Desktop will not start.
The experience is :
Install PowerBI Desktop succesfully.
Initial start works fine.
Next attempt to start will display Spash screen and then close with no information or message.
Nothing is logged in Event log or anywhere else I can find
If I go throught the complex and tedious process of removing all trace of the program I can once again reinstall and run once before being left in same state.
The latest December update was the same crappy experience.
Is there any way to get any debugging or loggiing information in order to try to get this program to work.

I am unable to reproduce the issue in my enviroment. Do you run any specific software such as anti-virus software on your machine? Do you install any Windows update recently?
I would recommend you use Process Monitor to monitor Power BI Desktop start process and generate a trace. And please install Power BI Desktop in other machine and check if you get any issues.
