PowerBI Cleanup - Pre-checking of unused columns before deletion

Hi,

I have 1 dataset model with 10 reports connecting to this model by using "PowerBI datasets".

I plan to do a big cleanup for both of my dataset and all the reports by removing unwanted columns and measures.

I know there are some tools built by outsiders that could help to do such cleanup but they are only limited when both of the dataset and reports are within the same file (eg. Power BI Cleaner, Power BI Field Finder).

Wonder if there are ways that can easily extract and list down all the used columns in the report and such list can be downloaded to excel as well?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Emily

I am not sure these ways meet you needs, you can take a look:

You can refer to this post:

Or try to use DAX Studio:
