Hi,
You know how excel transforms date to text for example: 8/07/2019 to 43654
In my Power BI report, I have a text column that store values differently example below:
WEEK |
1/07/2019 |
43654 |
15/07/2019 |
22/07/2019 |
29/07/2019 |
43682 |
12/08/2019 |
19/08/2019 |
26/08/2019 |
2/09/2019 |
Now this column contains much more values and I want to transform it in Date format, but I get an error because of these number values.
Is there an easy way to transform this column into a Date column in Power Query ?
Thanks in advance for your help
Robin
Hi,
The screenshots should say it all.
Hi @Ashish_Mathur ,
Can you please try that on the Power BI Query Editor and let me know if that works for you?
As I followed your steps and I am still getting a DateFormat Error.
Thanks
Robin
You are right. It is not working for the 2 cells which carry numbers. Sorry, do not know what to do in PBI desktop.
