Power Query Replace value from another table without merging

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to replace values in a column from corresponding values in another table avoiding merging and expanding columns ?

If yes, how to do it please ?

Thanks

Pauline

Hi @DIACHROMA ,

Try Table.ReplaceValue

Or do it by creating a calculated column.

Hi Stephen,

Thank you !

I've tried this :

= Table.ReplaceValue(#"Changed Type1", #"crm PRD_RECORDTYPE"[ID] ,#"crm PRD_RECORDTYPE"[NAME],Replacer.ReplaceText,{"RECORDTYPEID"})

But I got an error message :

Expression.Error: We cannot convert a value of type List to type Text.
Details:
Value=[List]
Type=[Type]

Do you have an idea of what's wrong please ?

Thank you very much!

Pauline
