Power Bi to load xlsm workbook from sharepoint

Hi,

I am trying to  load  a xlsm workbook from sharepoint , but Power BI is not recognizing the sheet and loading the contents.

Is it because it in not in a table format?

I tried Converting it to a Table by selecting the rows and Ctrl T but it still does not, can someone help ?

THanks,

KC

@chatterjeek ,

Are you using sharepoint folder connector? Please check if the url you input is valid, the valid format is like below:

https://name.sharepoint.com/sites/Group_Name

After load the data into power bi, click query editor-> click "Binary" in the content column, you would achieve the xlsx table.

this is the error that I get

DataFormat.Error: External table is not in the expected format.
Details:

@chatterjeek ,

This is caused by some data format in your xlsx file can be recoginzed by power bi. For example, please check if the date type in your excel can be found in power bi.
