Power Bi connection with salesforce reports

Hi,

I saw that when connecting power Bi with Salesforce reports only the first 2000 rows can be loaded. Is there any way to overcome this limitation?

Thanks,

You can work around this limitation using third-party tools. Here is the approach that I would recommend: https://vidi-corp.com/salesforce-reports-connector-to-power-bi/

This approach essentially extracts data from Salesforce reports in chunks of 2000 rows each and then appends them together. As a result you get all the columns you need in a single table.

Skyvia can easily load Salesforce data to a database or a cloud data warehouse, and then connect Power BI. Read more here

Hi My org has a custom domain and SSO enabled for Salesforce. When I try to connect to salesforce reports>Production>sign in using google chrome browser I get the salesforce login window.

when i log in using custom domain it directly takes me to the home page of salesforce instead of coming back to the below Power BI window with logged-in option.

please help!!

@niting, you may want to consult with IT people in your company. The company I am working for has the same setting ("has a custom domain and SSO enabled for Salesforce. "). It pops the same and things seem normal and smooth at my end.

Data View -> Edit Queries -> Append Queries, it pops and ask you the "Table to append", choose from the drop down.
