Power Bi Desktop - Connection to database way to long

Dear PBI Community,

 

we are currently facing a strange and very frustating phänomen with our Power Bi Desktop. Following situation:

We have a PBI Dataset and want to add more tables to it. The thing is during this process it takes way to long to connect to it till nothing happens anymore. We have tried everything what we can but it did not help. We have currently two users which are facing this problem. If there is someone who can help, i would be very happy.
