Power BI visual not filtering data

Hey Guys,

I am new to power bi. I created a visual ( Report ) and filtered for specific product and customer summing up units sold. However, Visual is still reflecting all products and customers. Not sure, what do i need to do to see only filtered data ?

Please advise.

Thanks . Raj

Would need to see an image of your model from the model view. What I suspect is happening is you have dragged a field from your FACT (data) table to the slicer instead of the DIM (dimension) table, and filter directions go from DIM -> FACT, not the other way.

But a screenshot of your model and which fields from which tables you put in the filter/slicer would be needed.
