I am having issues connecting to my SQL Server Analysis Services database:

Iternal Error: mddiscovermd.cpp, line 218, function "MDDiscoverMD::SerializeRowToMXL"

Seems like you don't have proper persmissions to read content on the db.

Hi Olga,

Could you confirm which option did you pick in the Analysis Services connector dialog? Was it Explore or Import?

Actually, I didn't use the Analysis Services connector 

I read later that I should use AS connector in order to connect to SQL Server Analysis Services database.

Is there any step-by-step guide "how to connect to SSAS Database" for dummies ?

Sorry, I didn't install it. Our IT did it. I only know you have to install the gateway on the SSAS, not on your computer.

Be carefull, you often need to update it.
