Power BI opens excel document

Hi All

I've noticed something that is happening that never did before when opening one of my .pbix files. When I would open one the connected Excel document never opened with the .pbix file. Now everytime I open a .pbix file the connect excel files are opening up also. Is this a new feature that is forced to happen? I never needed the excel file open before, I just select the refresh button. Is there some way to stop the excel file from opening when I open the .pbix file?

If you see your posts is Spanish, maybe you open it in the power bi spanish community. Community will sync it to the spanish community. And here is the normal issue link posted by you:

Back to this issue, based on my test, I can open the .pbix file normally without opening the excel file at the same time whether the file is in my local or sharepoint. Basically it could not be a new feature of power bi desktop. Perhaps you can try to update / download the latest power bi desktop to check it again. If still not works, you can share some scrren shots or more details about this issue for further discussion.

Is your excel file in sharepoint list or thet are standalong files on your machine?
