Power BI notifications on Microsoft Teams Group

Has anyone tried to publish messages on a Microsoft Teams Group using Power BI?

E.g. if any event occurs at a particular date , then there has to be an automatic message going from Power BI services to MS teams group chat.

Hi @Sachy123 ,

Yes, you can. But I suggest you create a thread in power automate, your issue is more related to power automate.  https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Get-Help-with-Power-Automate/ct-p/FL_GeneralDiscussions

Thanks @parry2k  I will try it and see if it works

Another question I had was if it was possible to recieve alerts based on an event today? E.g if I have a holiday calendar and I get an alert one day before that tommorow is a holiday? And I want to use this as a background service.

@Sachy123 check this post for alerts

Integrate Power BI data alerts with Power Automate - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

and I'm sure there is action to post the message to the Teams after the alert part is done, it should be easy from that onwards.

@Sachy123 didn't but I don't think it is going to be tough, probably need to use Power Automate to make it work.

@parry2k  Do we have any example to refer?

Hi @Sachy123 ,

there should be a corresponding template for data warnings.
