Power BI not launching on Windows 10

Hi guys,

Every time i try to launch Power BI since i've been migrated to windows 10, this error shows up :

Does anybody knows how to fix this ? My computer is running Windows 10 - 1703 / 15063.674

Hi @Anonymous,

First, do you launch Power Bi as Administrator?  what Power Bi version do you use? Please uninstall and install the latest Power BI desktop to see whether the issue disappears. 

Second, Check whether issue is caused by gateway. Reference: Resolve Issues when Power BI Desktop will not launch.

If all the tips haven't resolve your issue, please create a support ticket on the right bottom on this page, and share your log file.

 To get the log files:

1. Launch PowerBI Desktop and wait for the error message to be visible.  Do not close the error dialog.

2. Find the AnalysisServicesWorkspace folder for the session of PowerBI Desktop that you just launched.  The path will be something similar to c:\users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\AnalysisServicesWorkspaces\AnalysisServicesWorkspace<random number>.

3. Zip up the contents of that folder or copy the contents to a file sharing service
