Power BI limitations for large datasets

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what are the limitations for integrate datasets into Power BI? What is the limit in terms of records? The limitation on desktop is the same on the server?

Thanks

it depends on a variety of things, large datasets can be compressed quite small if there is a lot of similar data, are you using imported mode?  some of the limitations will be your machine hardware, there is a limitation of 10gb i think in total but maybe 1gb per file, direct query obviously allows more space
