Hi,
I've made a report that has to be exported daily to pdf by multiple people. Unfortunately, Power BI keeps crashing after clicking export to pdf. It will load/scan all the pages and after the last page Power BI Desktop will close. No warnings or error messages.
How can I fix this? It works for me after trying multiple times, but some collegues have tried it 10 times and Power BI will still close. We do have the 32-bits version, because we can't use 64-bits version with our office version...
Note: Power BI Service is no option because of security reasons.
Thanks,
Not sure if you are still getting this. I know I am.
The only fix I was able to come up with was to go to run>%appdata% and clear the PowerBI Cache. It mainly happen's on multiple page PDF's
Is there any work around to this? I am experiencing the same problems as listed above. I am also using the desktop.
The only workaround is by uploading the report to the Power BI service and export to pdf from there.
This is the error message I am getting "[1105/110608.508:ERROR:process_info.cc(620)] range at 0x21ee000, size 0x2000 partially unreadable"
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on my research, it is a known issue:
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
Some customers may experience issues with export to PPT or PDF including not receiving the email for reports that contain the Key Influencers visual. As a workaround, customers can mark the slide containing the visual as hidden then export the rest of the report. Engineers are working on a fix and expect it to be in all regions by end-of-day 5/24/2019.
Hope it could help you.

Daniel He
I experience this in power BI Desktop. Is there a fix for Desktop as well?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Yes, it will be fixed. You could have a try, if your problem could be solved, don't forget to mark one answer to close this topic.
