Power BI desktop don't open - Failed to save modifications to the server

Hi,

I am working for about 3 months in a report. Today when I tried to opened the file I received the following error message and my report won't open.

The report was working without any problem until friday. I don't touch it during the weekend and it refreshed friday and saturday night. Monday morning when I open it I saw the message above. All my other reports are working perfectly fine.

As you can see here the report refreshed on Power Bi service Friday and Saturday:

I tried to install an older version of Power BI and I tried to open it with another computer it doesn't work. I also have older versions of the file when I open them I have the same error message.

Hi @pwrBIuser,

Could you please tell me what kind of data source you are using with your report? And what the connection mode you are using? Could have checked if your data source has changed the data structure and check if your report could open in the service? If you are using the 'import' connecion mode, could you please share the pbix file if possible?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for taking the time to answer.

It is working now. I didn't do anything. The next day the error disapeared and I am now able to make modifications to my report again. I think it was a bug in the new version of Power BI. 

I just hope it will not happen again because this report will be widely used in my company.
