Power BI desktop Access get data issue

Hi,

I have used data from multiple Access databases however there is one database where I can't get the data.

Below is the message that I'm getting.  I've looked up probable reasons for this message but my understanding is that not having the Access database engine installed or having Power BI and Access in different bit versions would cause an issue across all Access databases and not just the one.

I deleted all of the tables in the database in case it was an issue with the data type, I then created a table with the numbers 1 to 5 but I still couldn't import this.

I could create a brand new database but I was hoping that someone might have some suggestions before I re-build the database.

Hi @TJ1987,

As the error message prompted, you need to download and install the macthed bit version of Access Database Engine.

The ‘Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0’ provider is not registered on the local machine

64 Bit Power BI Desktop with 32 Bit Office? Can do!
