Power BI connectivity with AWS EMR

This looks like connectivity of db instance on AWS. Can we connect to file system on EMR ?

This is what I checked but actually did not find clear instructions on how to connect and what to put in the ODBC connector.

I have installed SIMBA odbc connector. But no luck yet.

I happened to walk through your inquiry.

I belive what the responce eventually link to is enabling your EMR Cluster (with Hive or Spark or Presto) to be connected by power BI via JDBC or ODBC connections.

It is not uncommon which BI tools uses ODBC (on windows mostly) and pythonic / java / scala folks liking JDBC -- either of them shoudl enable query-ability from power BI to your EMR cluster base on EMRFS I presume that is the usecase you are refencing from.
