Using the Azure Cost Management Connector with Power BI, using an Enrollment Number, I can import data of some tables (Balance summary, Budgets, Pricesheets, RI recommendations, RI usage summary, ..) but, for the usage tables, (Usage details, Usage detail amortized, RI usage details) I cannot get any data, and the following error
Expression.Error: We cannot convert the value null to type Record.
Details:
Value=
Type=[Type]
Using the old Azure Consumption Insights conecter I can get usage data without problems
Best regards
Did you ever find a solution to your error?
Hello,
From the moment I created a fictitious budget, I had no problems with the ussage data, but if I continue to have problems with the ussage RI table
Hi , @SEACHAD
According to your description, I can't reproduce the problem and determine the cause of the error.
Maybe you can take a try of disabling the function of “ Automatically detect column types and headers for unstructured sources” in options.
Beside ,I recommend the following posts for your reference:

I checked disabling the function of “ Automatically detect column types and headers for unstructured sources” in options. and I get the same result
But in Pricesheets as example
I'm pretty sure that I have the Enterprise Administrator role, but I will check it again before opening a ticket, as I said I can use the old conector without problems and also read de usage data on the azure web portal
Thanks again
Hi , @SEACHAD
Can you show me the result in the table RI Usage details after you click the "source" in "Applied Steps"?
Best regards

Good morning,
After several weeks having problems, this morning and without changing anything, in preparing this answer, I was able to obtain usage data.
I only have problems even with RI usage details and RI usage summary
Thanks again
Luis
I still have the same problems with the RI usage details and RI usage summary tables, it may be a permissions problem or I don't have any RI in my subscription.
Is there any command in power query (M) to avoid this type of errors, something like the IFERROR of excel and in case of error that at least the rest of the tables are loaded?
Thanks in advance
