Power BI Service with dynamic data sources

Hi all,

I use Power Query to connect to our organisational webpage. For that, call each page with Json.Document(Web.Contents(XXX)). Once I have several pages, I merge them. If I publish this on PBI Service I can scheddule a refresh.

Here comes the problem. Each page gives me 100 project. I extract the info from each project by using Json.Document(Web.Contents(XXX)). However, if I publish this, Power BI doesn't allow me schedule a refresh, it gives me the Dynamic Data Source problem https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-data#refresh-and-dynamic-data-sources. I'm not an expert, but I would appreciate a list of Power Query functions that allow refreshing, which why a lot of people (I guess) uses Power Bi Service.

So why calling to pages Json.Document(Web.Contents(XXX)) allows me to refresh, where call to projects through the same formula Json.Document(Web.Contents(XXX)) doesn't allow me?

I found an issue like yours, and I hope it may help you.

Data sources currently don't support refresh issue on API

Please check data source setting if it shows Warning when you call to page or call to project.
