Hello,
I am trying to find a simple (-ish) answer to my concern.
I have data in various Excel files that are imported with PQ to PBI. In PBI, I create some visuals and publish this report o Power BI Service, to Workspace with a Premium Capacity. All accesses have been granted to the relevant audiences.
My concern... is the data I publish (send) is being stored "somewhere" in Microsoft Cloud/Servers? If yes, how secure it is? Is there anything I can do to improve the security of the data I publish to PBI Service?
I understand that only users who I grant access to will be able to see the datasets underneath, I am aware also about the RLS. But still, if I understood well, this data is literally being send to a 3rd party (Microsoft), which brings some concerns.
thanks

@Anonymous ,
Power BI use two primary repositories for storing and managing data: data that is uploaded from users is typically sent to Azure BLOB storage, and all metadata as well as artifacts for the system itself are stored in Azure SQL Database.
Please refer to the Data storage security section on the link below.
