Power BI Service Live Connection Error

Hello,

I have a model where I have already connected a few Power BI Datasets on from PowerBI Service online.

However, today when I try to connect to another Power BI dataset I am getting the following error:

Anyone can advise what is causing that? It seems I am not allowed to create a mode in mixed mode anymore.

Hello,

Please note that the solution to the above is in Power Bi Desktop -> In Options and Settings -> Preview Features , you need to ensure that  the following is enabled otherwise PBI does not allow you to create composite model:

@VeemalS , In the mix mode, you need to add dataset as the direct query, not live.

I don't understand this. To make things simpler, i have create a new powerbi file and i have connected to one power bi data set. This works fine. However, when i try to connect to another pbi dataset i get the same error as before.
