Hi There,
We are deploying PowerBI reports to SSRS 2016 preview on-premise. Does anyone know how to change the date format in the date slicers from mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy?
Any help much appreciated!
Cheers.
Have you also changed the Format to English NZ in Control Panel - Region in the machine where Power BI Desktop is installed?
Best Regards,
Herbert
Thanks Herbert,
Yes - when creating or working on the report in PowerBI Desktop the slicers are in NZ format. It's not till the report is published to SSRS that the format changes to US (when the saved report is loaded from SSRS, the format is in NZ in PowerBI Desktop).
Even in PowerBI Desktop Options and Settings > Current File > Regional Settings, Locale is set to English (New Zealand)
Regards,
Joe
you should format in ssas tabular.
Hi Dexterz,
We're using SSAS Multi-dimensional, not tabular - but tried the following:
No effect on the PowerBI report when viewed in SSRS Preview.
Have you changed the Format to English NZ in Control Panel - Region?
Best Regards,
Herbert
Yes on the SSRS Server date is already English NZ in Control Panel > Region
Cheers.
