Power BI Relationships not working

Hi,

I have 4 total in total

table 1 --(2 way Rel)--> table 2 --(2 way Rel)--> table 3 --(2 way Rel)--> table 4

Now when I select columns from this tables till I reach table 3 it works fine, but when I add columns from table 4 it gives error that Power Bi is not able to find relationship between 2 columns.

Any one faced such issue? Any suggestions here?

Here table 1 --> table 2 is 1:M

table 2 --> table 3 is M:1

table 3 --> table 4 is 1:M

When i test with the relationship as yours, i can reproduce the same problem.

Then i modify the cross filter direction to both for the 

table 2 <--> table 3 

table 3 <--> table 4

It shows no error.

Sorry for late reply but I made my peace with situation and splitted data into 2 tablix with filter working between them!!

btw what is your take on performance impact of both way relationships?

I've seen this happen once when I was going through the eDX Power Bi course. The way I fixed it is I deleted the relationship and created it again, which fixed it.
