Power BI Pro feature confusion in the microsoft comparison

In all the Power BI vs Power BI Desktop vs Power BI Pro comparisons there I can find the info that specifically answers my question.

Does Power BI Pro version allow you to export directly to powerpoint, pdf, sharepoint ( or even print ) OR can you only do this by publishing your work to Power BI ( web version ) to using those functions from there?

I found this info below but the way it reads, the Power BI Pro version will allow you publish to powerpoint without using Power BI (web version )

Thanks in advance for any clarity anyone can offer.

Re: Power BI Pro feature confusion in the microsoft comparison

The post you refer to refers to the service. There is export to PowerPoint, export to Excel and Export Ito Csv in the service only.

Everything in Desktop is 100% free. There is no export to PowerPoint, export to pdf, or export to SharePoint in the desktop. You can print pages, and also print to pdf though from desktop.

I am using Power BI Desktop and can find no print function. Do you mean Power BI Pro has printing functions?

Thanks in advance for any information you can supply.

Power BI Desktop does not have print feature yet. You can publish your report into Power BI online (Power BI pro license) and then print the dashboard.

Check MS doc for more details.
