Has anyone solved how to pass parameters between PBI Paginated Reports using the PBI Service? I have a summary PBI Paginated report and 2 detail reports. The detail report that needs to be selected is based on a field in the report. I have tried creating an Action using "Go to Report" but it does not see the other PBI Paginated Report. I tried using the "Go to URL" but have not been able to get the value from the field to pass in the parameter.
What's the secret sauce to pass fieldname or fieldname.value to another PBI Paginated Report if you are not using the onpremise server?
@derekwilson74 , I have a similar need. Right now I exploring this approach, see if this can help you -https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/paginated-reports/report-builder-url-pass-parameters
I am thinking building a dynamic URL and then allow user to click on some field
It should not be that hard. If you figure out any examples please let me know.
