Power BI M Query is not returning all records from Azure Log

Overview: Import Azure Monitor Log data into PowerBI Desktop.

Problem Statement:  Importing Azure Monitor Log data into Power BI Desktop result into wrong number of resultset. There is a difference in number records in Azure portal and Power BI Desktop.

Process: Following steps are followed to get the data from azure portal into PowerBI Desktop

Step 2 – Find Out How Many Records Available (1,149,984)

Step 4 (Export M Query from Azure Portal )

Step 5 : In PowerBI Desktop use Blank query option to get the data

Step 6:  Copy Paste the exported M Query into PowerBI  and Click on Done.

Step 7 : Apply changes and click OK.

Step 8 : Create visual to get count of rows

Issue – Number of Records are different in both Azure and Power BI Desktop.
