Hello Experts,
I am currently working on a dashboard and we have used Line and Clustered Column charts. We are currently showing actuals and budgets on the column values by region on the shared axis. We would like to setup an expression on the actuals bar and below are the rules that we want to add.
If the actual value > budget value then the bar should show in green color else in red colour. We have worked out the formula for it this chart is working fine only if we have the actual value on the column values and soon after I add the budget value onto the column values then the expression that I have written is not working.
below is the exaple of the Line and Cluster chart with only actuals on the column values
Column Values - Actual Value By Region
Colum values - only with actual value and shared axis by region screens shot
Column Value Properties
the real problem is when I add the budget value onto the column values then the condition doesn't work and please find the screenshot below
Column Values with actual and budget
How can we chagne the colours by expressions in the Line and Clustered Column Chart.
Any suggestions will be much appriciated.
Thank you.
Regards
JD

Hi @jdasari ,
As @amitchandak said, conditional formatting in Line and Clustered Column Chart can only be based on individual measure judgments and cannot be applied when there are multiple columns in visual.
Post your idea at the following link, if the number of people agree, Microsoft will officially consider adding this feature in the next update.
Best Regards,
Henry
