I am connecting with Import mode to a basic Tabular SSAS model with 3 tables. However when imported into powerBI I see a single (Model) table with all fields and it is a mess without order. I would like to see 3 separated tables. why is this?
However, when connecting with Live mode , i see all tables correctly

Hi @dpombal,
It seems to be the default behavior in Power BI currently. An alternative solution could be importing the tables one by one to separate the columns into different tables.
In addition, here is a similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas forum. You can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.

I think when importing I also do not see created measures from the SSAS tabular model....which is a really bad notice, so importing only tables is not the option for me too
