Hi guys,
I am working on a way to append all tables in all workbooks within a folder. So what i did is I imported the folder, then expand the data. However, it only took all the column from the first table and ignore those in the other files.
The append worked normally when I append them manually but that will not be sufficient since the number of tables in my files will be flexible and i don't want to manually adjust the query everytime new tables are added. I have come across a solution from Chris Webb's blog (https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2017/12/03/making-sure-all-columns-appear-when-you-combine-data-from-mu...) but when i tried the code, it said "List.Zip cannot be recognized" and I have no idea how to fix them.
Thanks guys

quick question do you have a different column name in the files?

Hi Parry2k,
Thank you for your reply. Yes the column names are mostly different, they only have a few columns in common. When I use append query mannually, it will every additional columns to the back of the query and this is what I tried to do for folder import as well.
I have looked at the link you sent and have tried that earlier but it just return the column list of the first table.
Thank you
