Hi everyone - I need help connecting my Geodatabase Data to Power BI. I have the Geodatabase file(.gdb) in my computer but I can't open it with Power BI, I tried to use the folder import method but it didn't. So I was wondering if there's another way to connect my geodatabase to Power Bi.
Thank you
could you solve your problem based on the answer provided? if yes, please tell me how, I have the same question, but when using the SQL Server connector it asks me to have a server, but what I have in a database file .gdb
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on my research, geodatabase is a collection of geographic datasets of various types held in a common file system folder, or a multiuser relational database management system (such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, IBM Informix, or IBM Db2). You could directlt connect to these database like SQL Server, IBM Db2 from Power BI desktop. Alternatively, you could export data into XML file which is a supported file type by Power BI desktop.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
