Power BI Gateway on a Windows VM

Hi All,

Previously my power BI gateway was installed in a 16 GB RAM machine running windows 10 with good internet speed of around 300 Mbps. Now when I put it in a Windows 2016 VM of Standard E2s v3 (2 vcpus, 16GB memory), it gives a timeout error for all the datasets. Kindly help me with what's causing the issue. The internet speed for VM is around 50 MBps.

Thanks

Krishna

I understand your point completely. When I remove the gateway from VM to another CPU, the refresh works completely fine.

Mine is hosted on VM. Just check again which table you are getting error. Then, click on Cog (side source) Icon and just put 30 in the timeout field. It will solve your problem.

I don't see any option to put 30 as time out in cog.
