Power BI Desktop file won't refresh

Hello all,

I am trying to update data in my local BI file but all of a sudden when I refresh the data no incremental data is loaded into the file. This is a new problem to me, how should I start to trouble shoot this issue?

Thank you

Hi @FatBlackCat30

First, please make sure whether there is incremental data onto the underlying data source indeed…

If yes, you can’t see these incremental data after refreshed, you can check the following information:

1 . Make sure all data sources used in the report are configured correctly and connect successfully

2 . Check if some filters or slicers applied in report affect the display of " incremental " data (for example: XXXX-XX-XX<=date<=XXXX-XX-XX )

If no, you can check the data sources applied in report and contact the related person.

Best Regards

Start by creating a new file and make a connection to a few of the tables and see if that works. It could be the source is the problem, and not Power BI Desktop at all.
