Power BI Desktop - Unable to Import any Custom Visual from store

powerbi screen shot.png

Hi,

In Power BI Desktop version I can not import any custom visual from Store.

I get the error message saying- "We could not import the custom visual. This may be a temporary issue.

Please try again later. If you continue to have an issue, please visit support.powerbi.com and report the issue.

I have restarted the machine and tried but it is still the same.

I have waited for atleast 2 hours and tried, it still the same issue.

Can you please suggest what could be the issue here.

Hi @ramans,

I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Please try below options:

1. Please run the latest Power BI desktop version as ours: 2.52.4921.682 64-bit (November 2017).

2. As you import custom visual from store, please try to switch to another Power BI account to see if issue related to your account.

3. Please download the custom visual here then use Import from file option to see if the issue persists.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
