Power BI Desktop - Store of Connection Strings and Passwords

We are looking to evalute using Power BI Desktop running under a Terminal Services Desktop / Cytrix Desktop and would like to know if connection strings / passwords are stored in a secure area. This being that another user accessing the terminal store may not be exposed  to another users session info. Some indications show this info to be stored in the C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop. … directory. Thought when you open a Power BI Desktop pbix file then lets say a connection string and a sql user id / pwd is available. This would imply that the pbix file would also have to be stored in a users priviate session area. If the PBIX file was stored in a Shared Directory would this mean the Connection information and login / pwd would be exposed.

Any info would help in this evalution.
