Power BI Desktop - July 2017 Update New Matriz vs Old Matrix Forced Drill Down

Hi guys.

After the new Matrix become oficial in this month release, I'm changing my visuals to the new standard.

Something is happening. I have 3 fields: "Foto", "Vendedor" and "Municipio". In the old visual, they are in the the Line option and show up together. When I siwtch to the new visual, it only keeps the "Foto", although the fields are still in the same position. This is happening because the New Matrix now has Drill Down.

It was like this before (Side by side)

You can see bellow that it starts from the "Foto" and goes down drilling down.

Now its like this:

If I drill down, the itens stack together and dont be more side by side, which in my case was the desired way.

Is there any way to configure the visual to keep the old behaviour?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @zapppsr,

Please check this link but you need to choose:

- Format

- Row Headers

- Stepped layout off

- On the table select the At the lowest level of data:

Thanks @MFelix, it was exactly that I was looking for.

Some itens in the layout were moved into different categories and new one arrived!

Thanks again for your time!

It also helped me, however, when my columns exceed the visual, it cannot scroll horizontally anymore. Is this also happening with any of you?

You mean the fixed columns? I have a visual here and the values columns scroll horizontally. I don't have a visual with lots of fixed columns to see if in this case they don't scroll... so I shortened a visual:

As far as I understand, the scroll works for the values, so there is no scroll for the fixed columns.

In fact mine are most fixed columns, so you´re right. In this case, I´ll just shorten them.

Thanks for the enlightenment!
