Power BI DAX Intellisense / Autocomplete Fuzzy Match

Not sure if this was a lucky bug in my previous version of PowerBI Desktop or I happened to press just the right shorcut back then.

Up until I updated to the current version of PowerBI Desktop I was able to type part of the table and column name and it would give me the option of all fields containing the typed caracters.

Eg. Calender Table:

type: calda

result: CALENDAR_V[Date] (among others)

After the update I need to write now the exact name of the field, so if for exampe I have a space or underscore in a measure / column name I also have to write it exactly as such.
eg. type: CALENDAR_V[ -> get CALENDAR_V[Date]

Before the Intellisense/Formula Autocomplete while writing new measures in the DAX formula bar was basically working with a fuzzy match. You can see an example of such a fuzzy match in this article explaining how to get IntelliSense for R & Python to work in PowerBI:
https://dataveld.com/2019/02/25/add-intelligence-to-r-python-intellisense-in-power-bi/

I have also seen that apparently a similar fuzzy match seems to exist in Microsoft Visual Studio Code, here people are trying to turn off the function:
https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/64367

From the changelog I couldn't find any listed changes to intellisense within the period between the previously installed version and my current version of PowerBI Desktop:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-change-log

Current version: October 2022 QFE 2 / 2.110.1161.0
Previous version: June 2022 QFE 1 / 2.106.883.0

So far I unfortunately couldn't find any setting in PowerBI itself, only the option to turn on / off M Intellisense for the power query editor.

Does someone know if there is any setting in PowerBI where the way Intellisense works can be adapted to one's personal preferences or would this need to be added as idea for a future release?

It would be very helpful to have this function again as it made wrting new measures so much easier as one would only need to know / write part of the field needed.

Hence the question if there is any way to change how IntelliSense works in PowerBI, whether there are any settings or shortcuts related to it?

Hi @SRS_Sebastian ,

As far as I concerned, Now Power BI does not support the feature. You may  share feedback via Ideas to help improve Power BI.

Hi @v-rongtiep-msft
Thank you for your response. I will definetly consider adding it to the Ideas section! Unfortunately it however does not answer the question if there is already something in place right now which can be customized in PowerBI to change the IntelliSense engine's logic.
