Hi, I need to develop AWS billing dashboard for which our team stores data in CSV files in AWS S3 bucket. After some research on Power BI Community, I understand there are two ways to connect.
1. Through zappysys S3 csv driver : Since its a licensed utility, I can't go with it
2. By connecting AWS S3 billing REST APIs via Web Connector and parse JSON response
I went through many articles which are listed below but didn't found any practical information where demonstration of Power BI connecting to S3 buckets via Web connector is done. Can someone please post a step by step tutorial here which can be used in the future for everyone.
References I have gone through :

Please help. @Greg_Deckler @amitchandak
Hi There.
Did you ever resolve this issue? Did you look at possibly automating a copy of the CUR zip files or .csv files from the S3 bucket across to a location in Azure where you can access them for PowerBI?
Wonder what people think of that option?
Roy.
PowerBI released a new Athena connector a few months ago... we are working on this solution to view CUR data.
hi greg. did you ever get this working? thx
Has anyone figured out how to bring AWS costs into PowerBi?
I am also looking for the same, Have you figured out any solution?
Hi @Anonymous ,

Hi @v-eachen-msft I appreciate your answers but I am looking to connect to S3 directly from Power BI without any ETL programming and since Zappysys is paid service so that is not an option for me.
